Foliage: The leaf cycle is interesting, with new growth bronze in colour, transitioning to glossy green in summer followed by golden orange and vibrant red leaves in Autumn. The branches are covered in pink buds which open as clustered pink flowers in spring.

Soil: Well drained and well worked soil.

Maintenance: When planting the Cherry Cheals, plant in well drained and well worked soil. You will need to plant the bud union above the soil. Water in well and keep the soil moist until the tree is well established. We recommend you fertalise after new growth appears along with using a stake for additional support. Prune after flowering.
