Intro: The hardy Crepe Myrtle, which will make a stunning addition to any gardens, particularly as a feature tree in smaller gardens. This one is mildew resistant, has an attractive smooth mottled bark on the trunk.
Foliage: In summer and Autumn, the Crepe Myrtle Tuscarora is filled with copious frilly red flowers.
Flower: The foliage is bronze-green which changes to red - orange leaves in Autumn.
Soil: Well drained soil
Maintenance: Plant the bud union / graft above the soil level. We recommend you water in well and keep the soil moist until the tree is well established. We recommend pruning to encourage strong growth. Fertilize on planting and then again with new growth.
