Intro: The Golden Rain Tree is a hardy tree with light grey-brown bark. The tree's tolerance for heat drought and pollution make it a good choice for gardens, parks and street planting in populated areas.
Foliage: Attractive pinnate mid-green foliage that shifts to golden in Autumn. During summer, yellow flowers appear in summer followed by papery bronze-pink seed pods in Autumn.
Soil: Well drained soil.
Maintenance: The bud union must be planted above the soil level, water in well and keep the soil moist until the tree is well established. We recommend fertalizing the tree when planting and again with new growth. You can prune to shape if necessary.
