Intro: This deciduous stunner is a hybrid of the Acer Rubrum and Acer Saccharinum. The Red Maple is a very popular tree species due to its Autumn colours, strong structured and tolerant to most conditions. It is recommended as a medium to large sized shade tree ideal for planting in parks, sports fields, car parks, street / avenue planting or in medium to large properties.
Foliage: Deep green "Maple" leaves which morph into spectacular red leaves in early Autumn.
Soil: Tolerates most soil types including wet sites as well as dry soil during low level drought.
Maintenance: Water in well.
