Intro: The liquidamber is a fast growing large tree with a rounded shape. Due to its size, the liquid amber is best suited to parks, Large gardens or as avenue planting.

Foliage: Green leaf foliage throughout summer which transitions to an absolutely stunning Autumn red, orange and purple foliage colours. The leaf shape is similar to a maple leaf.

Flowers: Springtime products insignificant flowers, followed by round wood spiky balls that hang from the branches.

Soil: Plant in well draining soil, however it does develop some tolerance to wetter soils once matured.

Maintenance: This tree is frost, wind and drought tolerant, however it does have an invasive root system which needs to be considered when deciding where to plant your liquid amber.
