Intro: Medium to large deciduous tree which makes for a wonderful shade tree but does require a decent space, so best in large gardens, parks or for street planting.
Foliage: Heart shaped leaves that are dark green on top and light green underneath. They change to yellow in Autumn.
Flowers: Sweetly scented creamy white flowers grown in clusters during the summer months.
Soil: This tree likes well drained soil. The bud union must be planted above the soil.
