Intro: The Magnolia little gem is a compact evergreen feature plant. This stunning tree requires minimum after care and is excellent as a hedge, small specimen tree or beautiful in a decorative pot.

Foliage: The little gem, flowers at a very young age, producing large creamy white perfumed flowers in Spring and Summer. The leaves are shiny green with velvet copper tones underneath.

Soil: Grows in well drained garden soil and requires low watering once established.

Maintenance: The little gem is frost tolerant. Mulch to keep the roots cool and moist and give a weekly deep soak in prolonged dry conditions.  Prune and fertilise in spring.
