Intro: The Manchurian Pear is one of the most common ornamental pears. It is suitable for medium gardens and street planting.
Foliage: The leaves are glossy dark green and change to a beautiful assortment of colours in Autumn. It is one of the last deciduous trees to loose its leaves. This tree has groups of beautiful white flowers in the spring.
Soil: Plant in well drained soil. The bud union should be planted above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until the tree is established.
Maintenance: Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. You can prune to shape if desired.
