Foliage: Deep lobbed leaves that are dark purple / red in the spring time, which turn deep red / green over the summer. Autumn leaves are bright red.

Soil: Well drained soil

Maintenance: You must plant the bud union above soil level and water in well. You must keep the soil moist until the tree is well established. We recommend fertilizing on planting and again with new growth. You can prune to your desired shape.
