Intro: The year round foliage color's makes this a beautiful maple throughout all seasons. It is suitable for larger gardens or parks. This tree is deciduous and makes for a great shade tree.

Foliage: Shiny deep purple foliage which turns to orange, gold and copper colours in the Autumn. The leaves are beautifully shaped with the standard maple style leaf.

Soil: Well drained and well worked soil.

Maintenance: This tree must be planted with the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep the soil moist until the tree is well established. We recommend you fertalize when planting the tree and again with new growth. You can prune to shape if desired.
