Intro: The Plum Nigra is a deciduous tree, that is upright and covered in masses of pink flowers in the springtime. This tree is well suited for any garden or street planting.
Foliage: Following the springtime flowers, the Nigra is covered in dark red-purple leaves.
Soil: Well drained and worked soil is best
Maintenance: Plant the bud union above soil level, water in well and maintain moisture until established. We recommend fertilizing when planting and again after new growth appears. You can prune to shape if necessary.
