Intro: The Forest pansy is a small to medium rounded tree that grows in height to 4m. It  makes a gorgeous addition to any garden.

Foliage: It has a small rose pink flowers that grow in groups on the bare branches in the spring, later morphing into heart shaped dark green leaves which change into reddish purple. Seed pods also appear later.

Soil: Plant in a well drained soil.  The soil needs to be kept moist until the tree is well established. Maintenance: Fertalise when planting and again with new growth. Prune to desired shape in the winter months.
