Intro: The Silver Birch is a gorgeous narrow upright growing tree that has pendulous   branches. The slender trunk has white bark with dark markings, which make the tree a real standout in any garden.

Folliage: The branches have small fluro green serrated leaves that turn yellow in Autumn. This is a popular tree for avenue planting or in groups to form a forest.

Soil: Well drained soil which is kept moist until the tree is well established.

Maintenance: Prune to shape if necessary
